To me, Christmas means many traditions. One of my many traditions is writing a letter to Santa. I like to do this because I can tell him what I want. I mean, what is worse than a bad gift from Santa. Also, I like to give him a simple “THANKS!” so he knows I like what he gets me. I also write to him so he knows what he is in for. (milk-and-cookie-wise that is).

I also like to go to Longwood Gardens. My family loves to go there because it is so fun to see the fountain shows. The colors are beautiful, they change quickly, and the water squirts so high. I also like to see the the light-up trees when we drive by, there are just so many of them. We also like to take our Christmas card pictures there because of the beautiful scenery.

Lastly, I like to see the old trains my grandfather gave to us. I think that it is fun to set up the farm and animals around the track. Mainly because it is all I get to do. I also like to take a long glance at all the interesting features from the the very, very tiny people to the bill-boards. Finally, I like to see the trains go by on the tracks as if they were real. Christmas means many traditions to me.

To me Christmas means sledding, LongWood and cookies.I like sledding at Christmas time because the hill is very big and I go fast on the sled, sometimes I go into the road. Another reason I like sledding is because some of my friends come with me and we sled for a very long time.

Longwood is simply amazing. I like the trains at LongWood because they run on battery power. I like the lights and the giant Christmas tree. It looks cool when it is dark outside. My favorite part is the indoor conservatory scavenger hunt.

I love cookies because my family puts lots of sugar, sprinkles, and icing in them. Another reason is that we make so many that they last for a very long time and they are so delicious. We make them as a family, that makes them extra special. Christmas means sledding, LongWood and cookies.

To me Christmas means snow, family, and Santa. I think snow is very fun to play in. When it’s icy, sledding is the best! My personal favorite thing to do in the snow is snowboarding. I think it’s beautiful when its white

everywhere. When my friends come over we see who can go the farthest when we are sledding(I’m the champion!) In the winter it’s cold. In the snow it’s colder, so bundle up! When I have friends over we have a huge snowball fights. Every year someone gets hurt though. My second favorite thing to do in the snow is build snow forts. Playing in the snow is always fun!

Of course you can’t forget about family! On Christmas Day my whole family comes over to celebrate. I like playing with my cousins too. Whenever my family comes over we have a special dinner. I always get my favorite, raviolis! Whenever my cousins come over for Christmas, we always have fun! When I wake up on Christmas Day, I get so excited! I wake up my parents and yell, “It’s Christmas!” My mom, dad, Stephen(my little brother,)and I go open our stockings up. Then, we all go open our presents up. Next, we have a special breakfast. I have pancakes my favorite! Before Christmas, we get an elf on the shelf. On Christmas, we need to say,”bye-bye.” After that, I set out the cookies and milk. I also set out the carrots for the Reindeer. Christmas is my favorite holiday!

Who would forget about Santa?! Of course Santa is one of the nicest people I know. Santa can’t do everything himself, so he has elves to help him build the toys. You have to be very careful near Christmas because Santa has a naughty or nice list. You don’t picture Santa as magical, but to me I think he is. One night a year Santa has the biggest job in the world. That is to give out presents to trillions of people all over the world. Santa is always on the lookout for naughty and nice people. On Christmas when you open your presents, sometimes you don’t expect to get something, and you get it! Santa also brings lots of stuff for stockings. I feel guilty that I forgot about Jesus, but I know for sure that Christmas is all about the birth to Jesus.

Christmas to me means family, presents, and well, food. A special part about This holiday is that I love Christmas food. Cookies, chips, dip, ginger bread, ham, stuffing, eggnog, milk, mashed potatoes, etc. There are all other kinds of food to be eaten here.

There are many sacred traditions that include many, many different types of food. Many people would just keep to their own types of food for the holiday which I agree with a lot. Some people would try new foods for dinner. I like the food at Christmas.

Next, Christmas is all about my family. First, I shall introduce my family of five from oldest to youngest. Mommy Cowart, Daddy Cowart,( Kimberly and John) Michael Cowart, Luke Cowart, and finally me Katie Cowart. My family can be fun

but some times crazy, like when Michael plays his ps3 for at least four hours straight. Usually, we play one long game of Monopoly over Christmas break. I like my family.

Last, presents are important at Christmas. They are big and they are little, they are medium and large. All are wrapped in paper by Santa’s elves and are delivered under the tree by Santa on Christmas Eve. You never know what’s going to be in the boxes.

Santa picks special presents from your list. I think Santa has red rosy cheeks from the cold, laughing eyes, and a long beard as white as snow. Also he has twelve reindeer, one named Rudolph, has a glowing red nose. I like my family, presents, and food on Christmas day.

Katie Cowart
Christmas time is the best and means a lot to my family. Christmas means quad riding, snowboarding, and presents. That is why I love Christmas.

Christmas means quad riding with my family. Some days we go spot deer on the quad in the snow. We have a big open field in the back of the yard. There are woods in the back yard too. If it snows we hook the back of the quad up to a tube and go for a ride. Usually my whole family rides. My brother and I like to ride in the tube, especially when my dad drives. Christmas means riding quads with my family. That is what Christmas means to me!

We always go to Pocopson snowboarding and make a big ramp to do tricks on. Next my dad pulls me on the quad all around the yard. We build the ramp out of snow. We do 180s on the ramp. I do this with my brother. We have so much fun snowboarding.

Another thing Christmas means to me is giving presents and getting presents. On Christmas morning I wake up at 5:00 am. I open presents with my family. It is exciting to open my presents. I like to give presents to my mom, dad, and dogs.

I love Christmas because it rocks. My family spends time riding quads, snowboarding, and getting presents. This is what Christmas means to me!

Christmas means to me family, tradition, and Santa. First, Christmas is being with your family. It might be your mom, dad, brother, or sister or maybe a mix of just a few. You might even see your grandparents and be with them a bit, but you are still with family and having fun on Christmas.

Next, people have a lot of traditions all year round, but a lot on Christmas Day or Eve. Christmas is known for fun traditions. You can do elf on the shelf or an Italian tradition, like the seven fishes. Elf on the shelf is when an elf comes and goes in a different place every day and you try to find him. He is there to make sure you are good, not bad. Putting up the Christmas tree is always fun. It is fun to put up all the lights and the ornaments. It is very fun at Christmas time. I love putting up the Christmas tree. A Italian tradition is called the seven fishes. That is when you and your family buy seven fishes and try all of them on Christmas Eve.

Finally, at Christmas time I take a picture with Santa and tell him what I want for Christmas. On Christmas night, it is very hard to sleep knowing that Santa is coming. I always put out reindeer food. It is fun to see if Santa has come yet and to make sure that he has eaten the cookies I put out for him. Santa has not given me coal yet and he probably won’t, hopefully. Christmas means family, traditions and Santa to me.

Christmas means family, holiday foods, and celebrating Jesus’ Birthday. The first thing I want to talk about is things I do with my family.I like sleeping under the tree with my brother. We always see if we can stay up.We like sledding too.We have a huge back yard so we love sledding down the hill.We go to LongWood Gardens to see the lights. We love to open up presents all together. My brother and I absolutely love to have snowball fights. It’s the best.

I love Holiday foods. Some Holiday foods are Angle cake,Hershey kisses, jelly beans, gumdrops, SourPatch kids bubblegum, Twix, ginger bread house, candy canes, cookies. All of these things are Holiday desserts.Ham,potatoes, gravy, green beans are special for dinner. Those foods are all holiday foods that are yummy and delicious.

We go to church on Christmas evening. We get candles that are lit up. We say prayers and sing Christmas songs. They make it look nice in the church. They decorate with lots of pretty Christmas decorations. It is almost always fun to go to church on Christmas Day.We always love to go to church to on Christmas Day. Christmas means time with my family,Holiday foods, and Celebrating Jesus’s birthday.

To me Christmas means seeing my family, going to LongWood Gardens, and appreciating everything I have. On Christmas Eve, I go to my PopPop’s house to see all my aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. We have a Christmas-like celebration where we all get presents, like on Christmas morning. Personally, I don’t think it’s about the presents. It’s about the joy and cheer your family brings you. Sort of like that Alvin and the chipmunks song.

LongWood is also an important place for me around Christmas time. It is always fun to see the lights. I notice that you can really see the shape of the tree’s branches. I love to play hide and go seek in the Topiary Garden with my brother. Climbing the stairs of the huge tower near the big waterfall and looking out to see all the lights on the trees is so fun, especially at night. In the Conservatory, I love to look at the cacti and poinsettias. The whole trip is truly beautiful.

Christmas is a time to appreciate everything I have. I am lucky to have a beach house along with a regular house. I have a very healthy family and I happen to be healthy, too. I don’t think that I really need to get presents because I have enough things already. I really love seeing how pretty the tree looks with the lights reflecting off the wrapping paper and all the ornaments, not seeing how many gifts I got. To me Christmas means seeing my family, going to LongWood Gardens, and appreciating everything I have.

Paige Haplea
To me Christmas means Santa, Christmas tree, and reindeer. The first is Santa. Santa always leaves me presents. At night he goes down your chimney, eats your cookies, and drinks your milk. Santa looks at your list and gives you what you want. He flies away with his reindeer and his big sack of toys.

The second part of Christmas I enjoy is our Christmas tree. We always go to a farm and cut down our tree. We always have to look for an hour before we can find one that can fit in our house. When we finally have our Christmas tree in our house, we get out some decorations. After we put all of our decorations on our tree, we get out our mini train to go around the tree. The train can go really slow or really fast.

Last, I enjoy the reindeer. I always enjoy listening for bells at night. When I hear the bells I know that Santa is here! The reindeer always eat our oatmeal we throw out for them. The reindeer always fly Santa away to a new house. I imagine the reindeer would scare my dog. Christmas means Santa, Christmas trees, and reindeer.

At Christmas I see my family. We go to the church. At church we sing songs. We come home and go to bed. When we wake up we eat a big breakfast. I eat bacon and sausage. First we open stockings, then under the Christmas tree. Daddy holds the presents. Santa brings the presents. We sit at the table and eat Christmas dinner. I like to open presents with my cousins. We leave cookies for Santa.

What does Christmas mean to you? Does it mean getting presents or does it mean spending time with your family? Or does it mean the beauty of the season? To me, it means giving gifts, receiving gifts, and the warmth of the season.

Why do I give gifts? I appreciate what a person has done to me, so I hope that they can see my admiration and respect for them in my present. These people help me learn, help me feel better when I am sad, and most of all, provide me with the education I need in the future. I appreciate my teacher, for teaching me the things I need to learn, my family, for taking care of me, the mailman, for sending my mail everyday, the police, for protecting me and keeping me safe, and many others. This season, if they receive gifts, I hope they can imagine a “Thank You” wrapped up in their present. I hope that they can see how thankful we are to have here to help us.

Christmas is coming soon, so everybody is busy and excited shopping for presents. But did you notice a man standing in the corner of the room with a Salvation Army bucket? This past month, Hurricane Sandy, otherwise known as The Frankenstorm, left people near the shores with no food and shelter. This Christmas, they may receive little presents. They must live without some needs for winter, such as a blanket, a warm coat, a warm shelter, and many other things. I know I can help by donating my coats and blankets I no longer use anymore. I can also help by donating money so they can find a nice and cozy shelter. I hope people all across America can help the victims of Hurricane Sandy lead better lives this season. Though the weather outside is cold and gray, we can make it a beautiful Christmas by filling our hearts with appreciation and love.

Christmas means to me family, Santa, and excitement. When it is Christmas morning it’s always great to celebrate the most fun holiday of the year. It’s fun to go shopping with your family to get a present for one another. It’s always fun to make cookies for Santa with your family. It’s fun to play hide the pickle with our tree ornament. It’s always fun when it is Christmas Day and your brother, sister, or parent opens your present and they are happy that you got the gift for them.

Second, Christmas means Santa to me. You can make him cookies or whatever you want and he will eat it, it’s fun coming down in the morning to see if Santa ate all of the food you made for him. It’s also fun to write letters to Santa and tell him what you want and he will get it for you. It’s funny how Santa gets around to give you presents, he rides reindeer to get around.

The last thing I think Christmas means to me is excitement. It is so exciting to walk down stairs and see that half the presents under the tree are yours. It is always exciting when you are unwrapping presents to see what you got. I love to eat Christmas breakfast, too. To me Christmas means to me family, Santa, and excitement.

Teddy Malone
To me Christmas means decorating, NOT sleeping, and Santa Claus. To me decorating is like putting an elf with tools to make presents. In this case, I am the elf getting ready to decorate. I believe that to decorate, is to burst out how excited you are. I would love to make the whole entire house like a winter wonderland. Now as I think, I want to tear out of school and put the singing lights that make you memorize “We wish you a Merry Christmas “ and “Silent Night” on the fire place. However, I know I need to stay in school and live on because if I went home before school ended I’d be skinned alive. I think that to decorate the house, inside, and out is a fun and exciting thing to do.

OK, many people may say Christmas is all about sleeping, I disagree. When I go to sleep at night I don’t sleep. I pretty much stay awake for hours than just doze off, thinking about what Santa looks like, and how excited I am that Christmas is tomorrow, hoping it will snow and partly, because I here the faint “Silent Night”. Well, it isn’t a very silent night is it now? I usually dream about angry candy canes and chocolate bars led by the sugar plum fairy yelling at me for revenge from eating their children and parents, shooting comments like “A million curses on that beast” and “Turn her into a stick of black licorice” and “Let her suffer, not being bought!!!” Then I wake up just as the sugar plum fairy tries to curse me. It’s a great surprise, I’m not a stick of black licorice!

Now Santa Claus, Father Christmas, whatever you want to call him, is a major part of Christmas. You can’t have Christmas without him, if you do, I sit here amazed. I think that you should always leave some cookies, and in my opinion, you shouldn’t leave store bought things unless its an absolute emergency. I also think you should leave a drink, the guy has been traveling all night. Give him something to drink! Lastly, Santa will not know what you want unless you ask him politely in a letter, he won’t give it to you unless you phrase it like this, “Dear Santa, I am very happy it’s Christmas. I ask you if I could have a humble present such as a book, or a kindle fire, and if you cannot manage give me a hundred bucks or at least fifty, thanks for reading this Emma. PS you could also give a Swiss Army knife, for carving in my woods. Now that is a letter. To me Christmas means decorating, not sleeping, and Santa Claus.

Emma Maloney
Christmas means to me family, a Christmas tree and presents.I spend a lot of time with my family at Christmas. We do a lot of things together. We go to my aunts house and celebrate. They are very caring and special to me.I also love to see my cousins.

I think the Christmas tree is the most important decoration for Christmas .It has to be there. It’s very special and fun to decorate. There is always a star on top. It smells good when the fire is burning. Last but not least, it brings the Christmas spirit. L

I think Christmas presents are very important for Christmas. They are very fun to open. I like my presents big or small. They make me very happy on Christmas. Christmas means to me spending time with family, decorating the Christmas tree, and opening my presents.

Arurora McDevitt
To me Christmas means waking up early, Santa, and my family. The best about waking up early is you get to see everything before everyone else. Sometimes I wake up at 4:00am. After I see all my presents I look for clues to see if Santa is still in the house. All the cookies are gone every year. One time I heard something on the roof.

Santa is the best! He delivers presents too, that’s so nice. Without Santa, Christmas would be a wreck. Santa has elves, and reindeer. Santa always delivers the best presents ever. One year he got me an Xbox, a snowboard, and Xbox video games. Santa has been around so long and that makes me so happy.

The best part about Christmas is spending time with my mom, dad, my brother, and my grandma. On Christmas day my brother and I do the polar run. It’s where you go in shorts and a t-shirt and run around for a minute outside. We always have fun with that. Then the night of Christmas, we have a big Christmas party. There’s cookies, cake, and other stuff. To me Christmas means waking up early, Santa, and my family.

Justin McMahon
To me Christmas means having family around , wrapping presents, and decorating. I love having my family with me for as long as possible, and what better time then christmas. One reason I love having my family there is that you get to just be surrounded by love. Another reason I love having my family on Christmas is, it’s the one time of the year you can eat all the food you want because my family members all pitch in and bring something. The last reason I like having my family is that, naughty or nice, it is always good to have them by my side.

Wrapping presents is another one of my favorite Christmas things. One reason I like wrapping presents is that you get to see all those amazing patterns on the different wrapping papers. Another reason I like wrapping presents is that I get to wrap the presents for my parents with my brother and sister. The last reason that I like wrapping presents is that we even get to wrap our dogs’ new bones.

My last reason I love Christmas is you get to decorate the house. One reason I like decorating my house is that I get to climb up in the trees and even the roof sometimes. Another reason I like decorating the house is I get to get away from my brother and sister and do something I like. The last reason I like decorating is you can decorate how ever you want and you won’t get in trouble. I love Christmas because you have your family, you get to wrap presents, and you even get to decorate.

Jack Miles
To me Eid means family, fasting and decorating. To me family means my relatives and parents friends coming over. We love to go out to dinner. We always make or receive dessert from other people.

Fasting to me means you can’t eat until around 7:30 at night. When we can eat, we usually eat soup before eating our main meal because it’s a small serving. We have to stop eating at around 4:20 in the morning, so we usually stay up till around 4:20 eating and watching tv.

To me, decorating means you put a lot of green lights everywhere and keep them on during the night without turning them off for some reason. My mom has a moon with a star in two different versions, one has sparkles and is multicolored and one is not. We sometimes plant some flowers, for no reason, even in the winter. Eid means family, fasting and decorating.

Laith Muhtaseb
To me Christmas means hanging out with my family , traditions, and hanging out with my friends. I think hanging out with your family is the best thing. l love to see my grandparents and my cousins on Christmas Eve and Christmas, even though we get in fights a lot. The the first best thing about my family is playing a game and making plays for my family. The second best thing is helping my Mimi and grandma bake cookies. Third, I get to sleepover at my aunts, uncles, or grandparents. It is so fun, we make arts and crafts or bake and before we go to bed, we watch a movie, which is the best because they’re my family. I love my family.

The second best thing that makes Christmas Christmas is the traditions. On Christmas Day, my mom and dad wake my sister and me up to go to church before we open gifts! I can’t wait until I get home from church and see my family open their presents, but before that, my dad has to get his video camera. After we open presents, we go to my Mimi’s house to visit my mom’s side of the family and we visit my dads side too.

Last, at Christmas I hang out with my friends. I like to have my friends over during Christmas break. We like to make ornaments, cookies, and decorate tiles. We love to play outside, make plays and play lots of games. Christmas means hanging out with my family , traditions, and hanging out with my friends

Larne Petragnani
Christmas means many things to me. It means waking up early, presents, and snow. Christmas is very exciting, and I love this time of year.

One thing that Christmas means to me is waking up early. On Christmas Eve, I go to sleep at 10:00 P.M. on my brothers couch. I am usually the first kid to wake up.

After I get up I start eating breakfast. I am very fast with It, because I want to open my PRESENTS!

Christmas time has so much excitement. I can hardly wait to open my presents. When I look at my wrapped up presents I think it looks festive and I can’t wait to open them. Then I dig in and rip open the wrapping paper. To me this is the most exciting part of

Christmas.
The last thing Christmas means to me is the snow. When my brother and I want to play out in the snow, we either have a snow ball fight, we make a snow fort, play Capture the Flag, or we take turns sledding. It is very fun. Snow is the last thing that Christmas means to me.

Christmas is very exciting. Waking up early, presents, and snow is what Christmas means to me. Christmas is my favorite holiday.

Keaghan Porter
To me Christmas means elves, snow sledding, and family. First, my Elf on the Shelf arrives at Thanksgiving. His name is Ollie, we spent almost a week thinking about the perfect name for him. It was snowflake the first 3 days, then it was Oliver for the next 2 days, then finally it was Ollie. It has been like that for the 5 years we have had him. I think it is great to have an Elf on the Shelf because you can give him gift notes and you always get want you want. I love my Elf on the Shelf, he is always watching over me. He is also really cool! It is really fun to find Ollie, some of the hiding places were really hard others were easy. His favorite place to hide is definitely my bedroom door. I usually leave my door open during the night and when I wake up some mornings he is sitting on top of my bedroom door, just lying there chilling out. It is really funny. It is fun to hang out with your Elf on the Shelf even though they don’t talk. They really are just fun to be around.

Second, Christmas means spending time with my family. My family can be goofy and serious especially my brother, Finley (Finn for short). He is almost always fun to be around, when he runs around screaming and jumping up and down it sometimes can get annoying, but when you look at him you just can’t say no. My mom is also almost all the time fun to be around. She might yell sometimes, but it is for good reason. She is the one that keeps the house clean and not upside down, without her our house we be a junkyard, but she doesn’t just clean all the time. She works very hard to try to get us to school, clean, and work. She works really hard for my brother and I. My dad does the same. He works very, very, very, hard to keep a roof over our heads and make sure we have enough food to survive. My dad also makes the best fires, that warm me up during the cold season. My dad is also very goofy. He doesn’t get mad often just serious, but it always leads to a giggle.

Another Christmas activity is sledding. I love sledding with friends even when it does not snow we go mud sledding almost all of my friends have gone mud sledding, and on a sunny or raining day we will go outside and mud sled. I also love sledding with family while my mom does not sled very much. I go with my brother and father. My brother goes sledding with me much more then my dad, yet it is easier to get my dad to sled with me then my brother. When I sled, I get hurt. Sometimes they are bad but others not so much. The baddest thing that ever happened to me had to be a bad butt bruise and a bloody nose, see not so bad. I also love sledding because When I hit a bump I go flying. I know it ends not so pretty, but the feeling of flying is just great. To me Christmas, means elves, family, and sledding.

Briley Strine
To me Christmas means exciting times such as spending time with my family, Santa, and presents. I am very thankful for my family, we especially like to play scrabble and we really like to learn words while we play the game. Such as words like aa , id , xu ,and xi. My family also will hang out and spend quality time together. We will sometimes play the wii together or just talk.

I am thankful for Santa because he gives us presents. He also brings with him good spirit. I enjoy all the excitement during Christmas with my family. Santa also likes the cookies mom, Keira and I make. The reindeer also eat a lot of carrots that we put out. On Christmas Eve, we always give our smoker Santa some fuel so that he can put out smoke on Christmas Eve. Santa is very welcome in our house. Santa kinda seems like a nice and warm father as he watches over us with lots of love and compassion. And I don’t really care if Santa is real or not, I’m just happy if I get presents.

I am very thankful for presents. I can get a lot of things I want such as video games, Legos, and a small basketball hoop on my wall. So Christmas is my chance to hit it big and get a lot of presents. I also like Christmas because if I get good grades my dad gets me something big for Christmas. So this year, I’ve been trying to get really good grades all A’s or A+’s and so far it’s worked pretty good. I’ve been getting A’s mainly, so at Christmas I’LL get A loT of good presents. And if I can get enough A’s I’LL get some good rewards. To me Christmas means family , Santa , and presents.

Preston Taylor
To me Christmas means spending time with family, opening presents, and receiving my full stocking on Christmas Day. When I spend time with family, I open presents that we gave to each other. We also decorate the Christmas tree. We like to decorate the house. We have a special breakfast with all of our family on Christmas Day. We usually go see Santa at the Kennet Square Inn. Santa always gives all the kids a small present. On Christmas Eve, we always put the reindeer food outside for Santa’s reindeer, and we put the cookies out for Santa.

When I open my presents I’m always excited to get new toys, books, electronics, games, clothes, gift cards, and cards. I always rip open my presents. I never take my time to unwrap neatly. I could care less if the floor was covered in wrapping paper, but I would have to clean it up with my brother’s help. I really want a lot this year. I want an I pod touch, hula hoops, gift cards, and much more, but no matter what I get this year I’m very thankful for those gifts.

I love to see my big stocking. It is always full with peppermints, candy canes, silly string, M&M’s, gum, small toys, gummy candies. It is always fun to get my stocking on Christmas. Stockings are always fun to see on Christmas morning. To me Christmas means spending time with family, opening presents, and receiving my full stocking on Christmas Day.

Lauryn Tuscher
To me Christmas means if you are naughty or nice, Jesus being born, and family time. I think naughty or nice is important for Christmas because if you are naughty, you don’t get all the presents you wanted for Christmas. If you’re nice, you sometimes get all the presents you want. It is better to be nice than naughty.

I know that the whole point of Christmas is to celebrate Jesus being born. What I sometimes do at Christmas is thank Jesus for his huge goody bag/presents. Then you see the goody bags Santa (the delivery man just for Jesus) gave you.

I think family time is the most important part about Christmas. I know that because my whole family sleeps in and we all enjoy that. After that Roman jumps on every one’s bed and my family loves it when he’s happy. Then we go down to the Christmas tree and every one is excited to unwrap their presents after that every one is having a good time. The naughty or nice list, Jesus being born, and family are what Christmas means to me.

Ethan Walker
To me Christmas means spending time with family, traditions, and Santa. Sometimes relatives come to visit. We spend time together, and play cards and board games. My family and I decorate. Sometimes my brothers are annoying and I hate it, but it always is fun.

I like Christmas traditions. Most of the time we give gift boxes to people, like the twelve days of Christmas. Like most people do, we always have a Christmas tree. And we always have stockings hanging up in our living room.

Third, I love Santa. We make cookies for Santa. He always brings us presents. It is really hard to sleep on Christmas night. But, we have to sleep or Santa won’t come.To me Christmas, is spending time with family, traditions, and family.

Emily Young
To me Christmas means all my relatives go to my papa’s house and get together. When my papa reads Christmas stories I always sit on my his lap. We each get present for one other and we open them. We all bring food there and eat a great dinner. After that we go in my papa’s basement and play card games, sometimes video games. We run around the house and play tag, but this year my whole family is going to Mexico.

Christmas means presents to me. On Christmas, I wake up my parents and rush down the stairs where my Christmas tree is and start looking for my gifts. Once I get a toy, I start playing with it. Some times I go over my friends house and play with it. At least you get a presents every year or 12 months. Christmas is the best holiday of the year.

Christmas means to me secret Santa. Once a year, all my relatives put their name in a hat and all my relatives pull out a name. Who ever you get, you have to get them a present for Christmas. You have to keep it a secret and you just have to have fun. Last year I got my older sister and I got her a moon charm. Secret Santa is the best. Christmas mean a lot to me.
